Tuesday, Scramble!!!

This week started a bit slow, my day was waylayed with having to help Evan. But no excuses, so lets get moving already!
Few other things that needs to be completed.
The first priority is still the Christmas card list, it is in progress but will take a bit longer due to addresses that I don't have.
3pm: Nearing completion, I need to start compiling what I wanted to write on the cards them selves. I am still sticking to the two catagories of professional contact and personal. both will probably require a photograph which will have to be taken with in the next few days.

The listing from At architect sounds very interesting and might be a potential fit for me. To get more information I'll need to send resume and work samples, so lets get that together and have it send out by tomorrow. I should write the cover letter now and have it corrected since I can pull the sample sheets without outside help.

Dear Ms. Torres:

I am writing to you in regard to the senior architect position you have posted on Archinect. With ten years of professional experience in completing a wide range of project types, from commercial interiors to public institutions, combined with running an indepandent architectural consultation practice from the trenches. I am certain that I can provide a substantial contribution towards the success of At Architects.

As the account manager for several international law firms, I have led and managed a team that successfully delivered multiple renovation and expansion projects on schedule, on budget and on a consistent basis. More importantly, I maintained a close relationship with all clients and successfully negotiated $500K of contracts for additional projects.

What attracts me to your firm is the combination of your interest in simplicity of design and sustainable architecture, and the spirit of exploration in the fields of both art and architecture. I have enclosed a copy of my resume and sample built projects for your perusal. Thank you for your time and courtesy in reviewing my qualifications, I look forward to meeting you and At Architects.

One of my best yet! probably have to do with the fact that I am genuantly interested in this job. People are important also but we'll find out more during the interview process.
btw, I schedule my self to attend the decal design event at the AIA center. Not sure if I'll be able to get some food in, we'll see.
Now go back and revised your damn todo list!
